1. Introduction

GamePassPrices ("we", "us", "our") operates gamepassprices.com, a price-comparison website for Xbox Game Pass titles. This notice explains what limited personal data the site processes, why, and what choices you have. It is written to reflect what this site actually does — GamePassPrices has no user accounts, no registration or login, and no database of its own, so the scope of processing described below is intentionally small.

2. Personal data we collect

There is no sign-up, login, or checkout on this site, so we do not collect names, e-mail addresses, passwords, or payment details. The only data points involved are:

• Region preference — stored in the gpp_region cookie so the site shows prices in your chosen storefront/currency. Strictly necessary for the site to function.
• Server access logs — like most web servers, ours record standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention.
• Advertising identifiers — our ad partner NitroPay and its demand partners may set cookies or similar technologies and read IAB TCF identifiers to select and measure ads. See section 13 for detail.

The on-site search box does not save queries, and the only "form" on the site is a mailto: contact link — if you use it, your message is sent through your own e-mail client and never passes through GamePassPrices's servers.

We do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you. Regional pricing is a simple display preference, not a profile built about you.

5. Disclosure of data to others

We do not sell personal data. Two third parties are involved in running the site:

• NitroPay (advertising) — NitroPay and its programmatic demand partners may receive advertising identifiers and device/browser information via cookies to serve and measure ads, subject to the consent choice made in their own IAB-TCF prompt (see section 13). • xbxprices.com (game/price catalogue) — GamePassPrices has no database of its own; every game and price shown on this site is fetched live from the xbxprices.com API. This is a server-to-server call: our server sends a catalogue/price query (game ID, region code, an API key) and receives back public Microsoft Store pricing data. No visitor personal data — no IP address, cookie, or identifier tied to you — is included in or transmitted by that request.

6. International data transfers

NitroPay's demand partners may be located outside the EEA/UK. Where that happens, NitroPay and its partners rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or applicable adequacy decisions to protect the transfer. GamePassPrices itself does not otherwise transfer personal data outside the EEA/UK.

7. Data retention and deletion

Server access logs are retained for no longer than 90 days, after which they are deleted or anonymized. The gpp_region cookie is stored in your browser for up to 1 year, or until you clear it. Advertising cookies set through NitroPay follow the retention periods set by NitroPay and its individual demand partners.

8. Your rights

Because there is no account on this site, most of these rights apply in practice to the server logs and cookies described above rather than to a stored profile. Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR for EEA/UK visitors), you may have the right to:

• request access to personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate data;
• request erasure of your data (e.g. asking us to purge your IP from recent logs);
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• request data portability, where technically applicable;
• withdraw consent at any time for anything based on consent (e.g. NitroPay's ad cookies, via the consent link in section 15);
• lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Our pages link out to third-party sites such as the Microsoft Store and our sister catalogue site xbxprices.com. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their content or practices once you leave gamepassprices.com.

10. Children's privacy

GamePassPrices is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. About cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (kept for a set period). This site does not run its own cookie-consent banner; the region cookie is strictly necessary and always on, and consent for advertising cookies is handled entirely by NitroPay's own IAB-TCF consent tool — see sections 13–15.

13. Cookies we use

• Strictly necessary — gpp_region, your selected region/currency, so the site shows correct local prices. Set for 1 year. Always on; the site cannot function correctly without it. No consent banner applies to this cookie because it is not used for tracking or advertising.
• Advertising — set by our ad partner NitroPay and its demand partners (including IAB TCF consent-string cookies) to record your consent choice and to select, measure, and limit repetition of ads. These are governed entirely by NitroPay's own consent tool, not by a consent mechanism built into this site — see section 14.

14. Cookies from our service providers

We display ads through our partner NitroPay and its programmatic demand partners (ad exchanges and bidders). GamePassPrices does not build or operate its own consent-management platform — all consent collection for advertising cookies is handled by NitroPay's IAB-TCF-certified CMP, which loads automatically for visitors it detects in a GDPR region (EU/EEA/UK) and lets you accept or decline advertising cookies at first visit. These partners may collect device/browser information and advertising identifiers to select and measure ads. We do not sell your name, e-mail address, or any directly-identifying information — no accounts exist on this site to sell in the first place. You can also block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking the gpp_region cookie will not stop the site from working, but it may show default-region prices instead of your chosen region on each new visit.
